A Little Bit of Heaven....
VikrD is a place of worship; a call to worship. We believe in the one true God, the maker of heaven and earth and we are dedicated to worshipping Him, come what may.
This is a decision we make everyday. Worshipping the king is our sacrifice and labour of love. Worship is an expression of the heart and it really has no formula. When we worship, we express our love to Him. We so love Him and we can't keep silent.
In the presence of the King of Kings we are so awed. Not only that; we are so caught up into realms of glory and it is impossible to leave. When we worship we intercourse with divinity and we do it the best way we know how.
We may sing and invite you along. We may scream and ask you to do so, we may jump or simply be still whilst we gaze lovingly at the one who so loved us and chose us; so moved that we are compelled to hold back nothing: not our tears, not our fears, not ourselves, nothing! Nevertheless, you will still need to cultivate that connection on your own. In your own closet you have to meet with Him and talk to Him who lovingly waits to commune with you. It is a relationship; it is a connection and we can only come with you to a point with the help of His Spirit.
In the presence of the Lord, we get a taste of heaven on earth. It is place of intimacy, it is a place of rest; it is very private and we want you to get there too.
We used to be without contact with the Lord God almighty. We were lost, without any relationship whatsoever. All we knew of God was an acknowledgement that He was up in heaven. But after that we are known of Him, it is in Him that we 'live and move and have our being' (Acts 17: 28). We renew our commitment to Him by dedicating time: to spend with Him alone. We may have no song to sing,no instruments to play, but in our stillness we are incontact with the lover of our souls and we just want to be left there alone with Him.
God is so real to us and we want you to share in this joy of knowing Him, and being in daily contact with him through worship. In worship we touch Him, we feel Him, we see Him and taste Him (IJohn 1:1). It may be just a little bit of heaven, but that satisfies us. And it is really all about Him. We aim to please Him and to serve Him, and to minister to His need for fellowship and companionship with us. If we can but meet this need with the life He has given us, we will gladly do it.
We worship Him because we love Him. We don't know of any greater way to express our love for Him than to lay broken at His feet. He deserves it!
